Clinical Placement and Partnership Officer

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

The Faculty of Health Science, Youth & Community Studies at Holmesglen provides a progressive, innovative and supportive teaching and learning environment with strong professional links and partnerships within the health and community services sector.

There is currently an opportunity for an experienced Clinical Placement & Partnership Officer to coordinate clinical placements for students within the Faculty of Health Science, Youth and Community department and assist in the coordination of a team of clinical facilitators.

In addition, the Clinical Placement & Partnership Officer will develop and maintain formal and informal partnerships and relationships between Holmesglen and industry stakeholders to facilitate clinical work placements.

**Salary**: $70,973 to $76,352 per annum pro rata plus 10.5% superannuation and annual leave loading.
**Time Fraction**:Full time, 1.0 EFT position
**Location**: Moorabbin and Bourke St campus.
**WWCC**: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
**Police Check**:Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
**Position Status**:Appointment to 31 December 2023.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Broad based clinical and theoretical knowledge of the nursing profession and the health industry.
- Demonstrated experience in communicating effectively with a range of people at varying levels, internal and external to an organisation.
- Ability to network and develop partnerships with workplace providers to organise suitable placements for students.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent organisational, time management and record keeping skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively within a team environment or work independently without supervision.
- Ability to competently manage a broad suite of MS products
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in nursing or a suitable combination of lesser qualifications and relevant experience.
- Nursing registration (Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
