**About the role**:
Teach into the Masters of Professional Practise Accounting and the Bachelor and Associate Degrees of Business, Hospitality and Accounting courses within the department of Business and Construction. This is a casual position with teaching and teaching-related duties accounting for the majority of the time. Collaborate with academic staff to support and maintain a high-quality student learning experience for domestic and international students.

**Duties**:
**Teaching**:
Develop, maintain and evaluate student learning programs, projects and associated materials.

**Assessment**:
Conduct required pre-training assessment reviews and assessment requirements connected to contract delivery for the program/s.

**Industry Engagement**:
Participate in the marketing and promotion of the courses by liaise with industry contacts, networks and learning communities.

**Quality and Compliance**:
Assist in the development and maintenance of quality assurance processes in relation to program and course administration, design, delivery assessment and evaluation of training materials.

**Vocational and Industry Currency**:
Identify, create and participate in professional development relevant to teaching and the maintenance of vocational currency.

**Skills and experience required**:

- An Honour’s or Master's degree, or PhD in a field relevant to the degree program.
- A record of academic excellence, evidenced by previous experience in teaching at a tertiary level in the discipline represented.
- Demonstrated evidence original publication in academic journals and /or membership of an appropriate professional association.
- Significant relevant professional experience in an appropriate area within the accounting sector in Australia and professional membership with CPA - for accounting lecturers
