**About the role**:
We are looking for an experienced Business Process Lead to join our Retail Markets team in this 12 month fixed term contract. Reporting to the Manager, Credit Functions, you will be responsible for end-to-end credit management objectives across functional and delivery activities. This will include seeking opportunities for process improvement, automation, error reduction and enhancing customer experience.

**Duties**:

- Own the credit and payments functions in conjunction with the Manager to drive the right/best KPI outcomes
- Develop plans and strategies that ensure the function delivers to and supports corporate targets and goals
- Constantly looking for opportunities to improve all processes and to reduce errors and exceptions, lift process quality and compliance and improve customer experience
- Own changes to credit management processes and create and maintain appropriate process documentation in adherence with change management and governance structures
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external (3rd party) partners to ensure top quality support and performance in line with regulatory, Financial and Customer experience outcomes
- Responsible for investigation and resolution (pro-actively identified or raised by key stakeholders) of process/business issues

**Skills and experience**:

- Strong understanding of accounts receivable and credit management processes
- Strong communication skills, especially ability to present ideas and information to key stakeholders and senior management
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong ability in resolution and management of complex exceptions and reconciliation of financial and transactional activities
- Ability to conceptualise quantitative benefits and create tracking mechanisms

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Business Process Lead who is looking to work in an agile team in a supportive, welcoming and professional environment. You will be a point of escalation for operational teams across operations in Australia and of the Alinta Energy Business Processing Outsourcing (BPO) based in Manila.
