PFD Food Services began life in 1943 amid the noise and chaos of the Melbourne Fish Markets. **The Role**

The purpose of this role is to promote PFD Food Services as a recognised supplier of a broad, consistent range of meat products to the local Food Service Industry. The role is also responsible for the education and support of PFD Meat Sales Specialists to increase their meat selling ability with the view to increasing sales.

Also a priority is developing and implementing strategies to increase meat sales growth with nominated Key accounts. This role based at our Brisbane Branch, with the requirement to travel to surrounding PFD sites.

**Key Responsibilities**
- To grow the regions Meat sales to meet the company’s targets. Provide extra emphasis involving on the job training regarding the meat selling skills of our Sales Representatives.
- Grow the Meat sales in nominated regions/branches, where sales are below company average through education and on the job training of Sales Representatives.
- Introduce/increase meat sales into nominated major/key accounts through establishing contacts and working with key account managers and sales reps.
- Develop and expand the region’s meat opportunities and sales.
- Develop meat sales in allocated regions through Branch personnel education, sales training, and customer calls with the Sales Team.
- Monitor and react to branch meat stock levels and sales results in allocated regions where required.

**Knowledge Skills and Qualities**:

- High impact communication
- Strong Sales background and understanding of Sales processes.
- Ability to coach, develop and motivate a sales team
- Solid knowledge of meat processes and products
- Ability to adapt, encourage and promote change.
- Ability to set budgets and determine objectives for achieving such targets if required.
- Leverage relationships with internal and external partners to achieve common goals.
