**About Blue Haven**:
Blue Haven Illawarra is owned and operated by Kiama Municipal Council. We offer a true continuum of aged care services and a wide range of disability services for people in the Illawarra region. We provide residential aged care, in-home support, disability support and coordination, community transport and independent living.

Blue Haven require passionate, qualified, and experienced professionals to join our organisation to support our aged care clients and residents. Blue Haven Bonaira services over 1,200 clients across Residential Aged Care, Retirement Living, Home Care Packages, Commonwealth Home Support Program and Community Transport across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven.

**The role**:
As Finance Systems Support Officer you will provide financial and systems support to management and assist in ensuring Council maintains its statutory obligations. You will also maintain and operate Councils in house custom written CRM and business management systems.

**To be successful in this role you will need**:

- Diploma Qualification (or working towards) in Business or a relevant field
- Demonstrated experience in reconciliations
- Demonstrated advanced level data manipulation skills with Excel including macros
- Experience in a Business Information System role (database implementation and maintenance)
- Experience in continuous improvement and ability to contribute to change management
- Excellent communication, problem solving and negotiation skills with a strong customer focus
- The ability to work as part of a team
- Organisational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.

**We offer**:

- Full time position, 35 hours per week until 29 February 2024
- Weekly salary from $1,470.20 to $1,749.20
- Plus 11% superannuation
- Accrued flex time allowing up to two days off each month for indoor staff
- Hybrid working arrangements e.g. work from home
