**About the Role**:
Reporting to the General Manager Consumer Products and Portfolios, you will lead the Consumer Third Party (CTP) product and portfolio initiatives to deliver holistic performance of the CTP business plan. In addition, lead and drive the portfolio management and technical excellence initiatives for consumer products and portfolios, to ensure financial targets and portfolio strategy are delivered.
**Other key aspects of the role**:
- Lead the day-to-day regulatory engagement with the three CTP regulators ensuring active communication and fulfilment of the annual business plan.
- Monitoring of competitors, performance, and insight developments including establishing targets for performance benchmarks.
- Develop and implement new or changing products and product strategies, by incorporating insights from market, competitor, and customer research and alignment with the distribution strategy and the customer value proposition.
- Support implementation and identification of opportunities for more granular and sophisticated rating tools, and additional data sources to enhance pricing capability.
- Provide recommendations to the commercial pricing decisions to achieve portfolio performance as according to the pricing governance and risk frameworks.
- Drive oversight of the end-to-end product lifecycle, including the roll-out of products across the enterprise and supervision of distribution obligations.
- Revise and ensure the adequacy of pricing for the designated product/product lines or portfolio, enhancing pricing capability in perils and catastrophe modelling to achieve target growth and profitability, identifying opportunities for more granular and sophisticated rating tools.
**Important to your success**:
- Extensive portfolio management experience in a senior management role for a complex, matrixed financial services organisation.
- Significant technical experience in managing insurance products.
- Comprehensive knowledge of products, industry practices and governing legislation.
- Expert, strategic, tactical selling and relationship management capability.
