**The Role**
This position brings together services that are focusing on providing outcomes for the business and the community in the specialist areas of Fleet Management, Customer Experience, Revenue and Procurement and Business Improvement.
This role ensures the efficient and effective management of staff delivering customer focused services and provides quality advice to the Director Corporate Services regarding the establishment of and performance against service standards.
The role will work as part of Councils Executive Management Team and support them in improving and enhancing both how they deliver services and the mechanisms they use to plan and monitor the delivery of their services.
This is a full time, fixed term role until 2028 which has a competative salary package of $170,000 to $180,000 per annum inclusive of statutory superannuation. In addition, this position will have access to a fuel card and car parking.
**About You**
**Key Selection Criteria**
- Tertiary qualifications in one of the key functional service delivery areas, or equivalent experience in one of those areas.
- Extensive experience providing authoritative strategic and operational advice and achievement at a senior, accountable level in the management and leadership of a business service function.
- Strong people leadership skills including experience being able to influence others to deliver outcomes via highly effective written and oral communication skills.
- Extensive and demonstrable experience as a Senior Leader in a regulated operational environment incorporating leading, managing and developing people; best practice operations; business and strategic planning; budget preparation and management; resource optimisation and workforce management; and management reporting.
- Experience overseeing and guiding the delivery of a program of initiatives using an effective prioritisation methodology in an environment of constrained resources, via best practice project management methodologies.
- Demonstrated representation and stakeholder management skills and experience in developing strategy and frameworks which ensure effective decision making and guide the delivery of services within an organisation.
- Experience guiding teams to rationalise large volumes of information into effective, accurate and timely reporting for both internal and external customers.
- Experience developing and implementing visions, plans and strategy for the delivery of customer focused services.
