**About the role at Datadog**

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) on our Commercial Sales team, you will prospect, qualify, and generate customer leads to assist in Datadog’s overall business growth. By partnering with internal stakeholders, you will help IT and Technology innovators across markets recognise Datadog’s impact in their digital transformation and migration to the cloud. SDRs have the opportunity to grow their careers in Sales and continue contributing to Datadog team success.

**Seniority**

**Entry Level** - A role for someone with underlying potential, good motivation and ability to learn. Typically no direct experience is required.

**Responsibilities**
- Sales Team Enablement - Identify opportunities to enhance processes and resources that enable team performance and time spent with prospects or customers
- Outbound Prospecting - Generate new sales opportunities and move them through the funnel by drafting outreach messages and sequences, and identifying the needs of customers
- Sales Pipeline Management - Efficiently navigate the CRM and other operational tools to create, update, retrieve, and understand information about accounts and opportunities
