**Company Description**:
Located in Sydney city, experienced Japanese interpreters and staff are available to assist patients with everything from making appointments and arranging examinations to consultations with specialists in Japanese. The doctors have a wide range of experience and knowledge and can be appointed as your family doctor when you are anxious about your life overseas.

**Position Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive bilingual Receptionist / Translater staff with proficiency in Japanese and English. Your ability to effectively communicate in both languages will be highly valued as you collaborate closely with providers and patients. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact, contribute to the company's success, and be part of a supportive team that values your bilingual expertise.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greeting and providing excellent customer service to all patients and visitors.
- Communicates effectively and professionally with patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers.
- Work in multiple systems, assist patients, enter and update information.
- Check-in patients, collect co-pays and direct patients to the correct area.
- Make follow-up appointments.
- Translate to obtain proper information from the patient to ensure all entities have the information needed to provide quality patient care.
- Translate and assist patients with registration, appointments, and phone calls.
- Translate and assist providers, nursing and clinical staff with phone calls and face to face patient care.
- Maintains appearance of front lobby and waiting areas.
- Sort and distribute mail, monitors and paperwork.
- Office administration and general affairs.
- Duties may be added at any time due to the needs of the organization.

**Requirements**:

- **Fluent Japanese language skills** is preferred due to our clientele, which includes Japanese customers and contacts.
- At least 1 year of work experience of Receptionist and Translater.
- 1-2 years of medical experience and/or secretarial experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Preference is given to those with **NAATI** certification.
