The Role
In this permanent part time role, based in East Melbourne, you will be responsible for providing administratvie support to ensure efficient ward operations along with exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, medical, nursing and allied health staff. You will be part of the Ground East, general medical team and report to the Nurse Unit Manager.

**You will make an impact by**:
Managing medical records
Timely and accurate management of patient admission and discharge documentation
Supporting the nursing team with smooth and efficient administration management
Supporting the Nurse Unit Manager with team administration requirements

To be successful in this role

You will have well developed communication skills, with the ability to prioritise and adapt to the changing needs of the ward. Organisation, exceptional time management and attention to details are also imperative.

You will have,

Previous medical administration experience, with knowledge of medical terminology
Have understanding of patient information systems and be confident in the use of computers
A willingness to learn and be part of a team committed to working together to provide an exceptional experience for patients, familes and staff
