Monash Health is the largest public health service in Victoria, employing over 22,000 people across a range of specialities.

Tower 4 is a 32 bed General Medicine ward at Casey Hospital, which delivers a variety of services within the General Medicine program.

**About the Role**

Tower 4 has the opportunity for an experienced Ward Clerk to join an amazing team and be part of the growth of the services at Casey hospital and provide care to the broader community.

The Ward Clerk is a key role within the Ward, providing a customer focused service to patients, their families, and visitors. Working in a busy team-based environment, the Ward Clerk provides efficient and effective clerical support to the clinical ward staff. The Ward Clerk contributes to optimum patient care and actively contributes to the functioning on the Ward.

Tower 4 currently has a Part time opportunity for an experienced Ward Clerk, offering 16 hours per week. Shifts would be 16.00 - 20.00 Monday to Thursday.

**About You**

You are an experienced Ward Clerk with knowledge of varying software programs including IPM / EMR and excel spreadsheets.

**You are also**:

- dedicated to safe best practice care and contribute to the functioning of the Ward
- enthusiastic, compassionate & able to work collaboratively
- an advocate of Monash Health’s Strategic Guiding Principles

**What you need**:

- Ward Clerk experience, previous experience in a similar role is required
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Current Australian Working rights
