Your new role

In your role as the Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator you will be working within the strategic policy unit, this role will support the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation systems and tools in support of the organisation’s transition to an outcomes-focused approach.
- Undertake research to support the development of monitoring and evaluation frameworks for program areas and initiatives.
- Assist in implementing monitoring tools to track program performance in line with developed theories of change and agreed monitoring and evaluation plans across program areas.
- Facilitate the development of training resources to build knowledge and competence of monitoring and evaluation with key stakeholders across the organisation.
- Contribute to designing, reviewing, and implementing routine monitoring and evaluation activities, such as surveys, focus group discussions, interviews, and case studies.
- Contribute to analysis and reporting of qualitative and quantitative data.
- Undertake research and evidence reviews to support program planning and monitoring activities.
- Advise staff in interpreting data and translating it into learning and improvement, e.g. supporting the design and undertaking of data analysis and sense-making workshops.
- Respond to data queries in an accurate and timely manner.
- Contribute to regular reports, articles or publications as requested.
- Identify and develop enhancements and add value to the organisation through continuous improvement opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed
- Knowledge of or experience supporting monitoring and evaluation projects.
- Knowledge or experience designing monitoring and evaluation frameworks
- Knowledge or experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis, and production of reports.
- Knowledge or experience in the collection and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data
- Well established written and oral communication skills.
- High level of creativity, and innovative problem solving.
- Ability to involve other people, harness, and build on their ideas.
- Strong interpersonal skills, coupled with ability to influence, advise, and train others.
- Self-motivated person able to work in a rapidly changing environment.

Desirable:

- Training and facilitation experience an advantage
- Experience using web/digital media analytics to inform program review and evaluation activities.

This role is offering between $75k-$91k + Super + NFP Salary packaging. Fixed term contract until June 2025.
