**The Organisation**:
Our client is highly respected organisation who are the leaders in their field. With an incredibly low staff turnover rate, they are currently looking for an experienced Payroll Operations Manager to lead their payroll division in a role that sees you as part of a broader finance team. With excellent company culture, and a fun and dynamic team environment on offer, this role will be an exciting opportunity for those looking for their next managerial challenge.

**Responsibilities**

The role will involve taking leadership of the Payroll team with key tasks involving:

- Developing, mentoring and leading a large sized payroll team of 9
- Overseeing the end to end processing of a large scale payroll
- Working closely with other divisions to facilitate process improvement
- Develop and strive for process improvement to improve efficiency
- Proving accurate information in response to employee queries
- Preparation of monthly payroll journals
- Provide ongoing training
- Ensure relevant Awards and legislation are interpreted as well as;
- Completion of other ad hoc payroll projects

The successful applicant will have proven leadership experience in a similar Payroll Manager position along with the following skills and attributes:

- Experience with SAP is essential for this role
- Previous experience in full function Payroll processing having led a team
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- The ability to interpret numerous awards and EBAs
- Proven process improvement initiatives
