Position summary

We are seeking an experienced delivery focused Recruitment Lead to join the team responsible for our highly reputable Rail and Transit systems business. Our RTS business has over 100 years’ rail experience providing end-to-end, innovative transport solutions with the largest rollingstock capability in Australia.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Group Manager Recruitment and Sourcing you will be responsible for leading a team of approx. 6-10 recruitment business partners delivering true end to end recruitment, as well as managing an active recruitment workload. This role will require you to work as a proactive strategic business partner with operational leaders to ensure we have implemented strategies that enable us to attract and recruit quality talent to deliver work for our clients.

Lead and empower your team to ensure effective end to end recruitment, providing a high calibre service focused on business partnering, enabling growth of business through the delivery of people

Build strong relationships with operational leaders, HR business partners, project managers and other key stake holders to advise and provide SME guidance for all matters related to recruitment and sourcing

Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract and grow our brand and EVP in key target markets

Proactively maintain, build and manage talent pools in line with workforce demand requirements

Drive the agenda for effective workforce planning collaborating closely with operational leaders and HR

Ensure the recruitment team have a strong understanding of contracts in hand, priorities and commercial impacts

Reporting on key recruitment metrics and progress to key stakeholders through internal systems

Continuous improvement to optimize process efficiency and value add service for our internal customers

ABOUT YOU

You will be a proactive, passionate recruitment professional that demonstrates and drives best practice recruitment methodology in a high volume rail contracting environment. You’re agile and responsive to stakeholder requirements, understanding business strategy and capable of leading a team to achieve outcomes.

Proven track record as a successful Recruitment leader in a high volume contracting environment; preferably with experience within rail, large transport infrastructure, or rail engineering contracting environment

Experience in building talent pipelines and developing sourcing strategy aligned with business strategy to enable business growth

Experience leading and driving recruitment team outcomes using metrics

Effective communicator, that thrives building and fostering relationships with colleagues and operational leaders

Able to work independently with a high level of integrity
