Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Environmental team in Brisbane, as a key contributor to our sample receipt and dispatch operations. As a vital member of the team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining excellence in client services related to soil, water, and air sample processing.
Your key responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:
- Liaise with EHS and local management to ensure the safe, efficient and harmonious operation of the Brisbane EHS Sample Receipt facility.
- Liaise and work closely with Client Service Managers, Business Development Managers, Sales Teams and other stakeholders optimise service needs and be versatile with distinct customer focus.
- Agile coordination of high-quality service and meet deadlines ensuring integrity of service and ongoing relationship growth.
- Maintain records of client liaison, meetings and related activities.
- Scope and prepare or organise quotations as required.
- Sort and identify samples on receipt, and complete and record all required sample receipt checks, including sub-sampling, labelling, storing and/or timely repacking of samples for dispatch as necessary.
- As required, drive to client sites to pick up samples, and/or carry out sampling according to approved procedures. Accurately complete sampling and site records
- Perform other duties as directed by the Project Manager.
**Qualifications**
- Be available to cover additional hours when required based on project needs.
- Be available to travel when required.
- Hold a scientific qualification (Diploma or Tertiary) or have at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Have commercial environmental laboratory and client services experience (preferred).
- Hold or be able to obtain required certifications and work permits (e.g., white card, MSIC card).
- Be physically capable of sample handling (up to 10-15kg) and working on feet for extended periods.
- Hold a current Australian driver's license and possess a good driving record.
- Have no criminal history and a willingness to undergo AFP checks.
