About the role

the

Investment Divisional Risk Manager

in our Investments team, you will

be responsible for researching, developing and implementing the Fund’s investment risk management strategies to meet the Board's objectives and ensure that with Australian Retirement Trust, our members can look forward to their best years.

This permanent role provides high quality investment risk and compliance advisory services to the Investments team to embed good risk management practices and deliver against requirements in accordance with its established Investment Governance Framework. The role also provides an effective management lead to ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements, the broader corporate Risk Management Framework and delivers investment governance arrangements that are robust, commercial and practical and deliver best outcomes for Australian Retirement Trust members.

Australian Retirement Trust seeks a strong risk culture through effective risk management. This includes the provision of roles which have key accountability for cascading risk information to staff.

About you

If this is the right role for you, your skills and qualifications may include:
Relevant experience in a risk management and compliance role in financial services (preferably within investments);
A relevant tertiary qualification in an appropriate discipline;
Accreditation with ACI or RMIA (preferred);
Strong leadership and influencing skills;
Highly developed verbal communication and writing skills (including strong review and editing skills);
Research and analytical skills and a strong attention to detail;
High levels of initiative and motivation;
Demonstrated professional behaviour and presentation;
Demonstrated desire and ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
