THE OPPORTUNITY

This is the perfect opportunity for a commercially savvy, independent and capable HR practitioner to lead, shape and deliver the local Human Resources strategy and agenda across Australia, NZ and Fiji. The HRBP has a unique opportunity to drive change, support a well-respected, global Company, contribute to key business decisions and develop their skills in a way that prepares them to eventually move into the Head of HR, Asia & Middle East position over a period of time.
- Support between 400-450 employees across several locations in APAC and manage day-to-day HR tasks, deliverables for the region.
- Contribute to business analysis; recognising business trends, their impact on the business, and using this to forecast and proactively avoid/overcome potential obstacles to success.
- Leadership and Coaching: Act as a trusted advisor for senior leaders; challenge and stretch them to achieve their maximum potential through self-awareness and understanding and, where necessary, challenge them to adapt their behaviour.
- Employment Relations: Provide Employment Relations advice to managers on complex / unique ER cases that are escalated for support; ensuring there are local training plans in place to ensure managers are capable of handling routine / regular ER cases with self-help and without the need for support.
- Organisational Design and Change: Lead change management projects across APAC, identifying when and where additional change management/project resource is required.

- Workforce Planning and Talent Management: Define the talent and capability strategy for APAC, from both a strategic and operational perspective to create succession plans and meet business needs.
- Create and monitor talent plans that are designed to motivate, engage and retain high potential talent within the business. Identify any potential engagement issues across the workforce and proactively manage them in partnership with local leadership and the wider HR team globally.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

**To be successful in this role, you ideally have**:

- Extensive experience in a generalist HRBP or HR Manager position with a proven track record working with global teams and colleagues at varying levels of seniority.
- Exceptional customer/stakeholder relationship management skills, including credibility and influencing at a senior level.
- Confidence in your ability to be an independent contributor in the region whilst also leveraging the support of the HR centres of excellence, talent acquisition and HRBP team members where required.
- Workday experience and the ability to interact with the HRIS for performance reviews, people data management, recruitment etc.
- Exceptional customer/stakeholder relationship management skills, including credibility and influencing at a senior level.
- Pragmatic, with a genuine interest in and curiosity about our business.
