Our client is a boutique, niche Adelaide based IT & Telecommunications services company providing outsourced IT/Telephony services to SME businesses only.

Led by a skilled industry expert and a diverse service list, this role provides a fantastic opportunity to gain experience across software, hardware, phones internet and network support.

They are a company that values work-life balance working 9 am - 5 pm with very realistic and achievable KPI’s. They are a very friendly and loyal team, with ongoing support, training and development provided.

Due to an increase in demand for their services they wish to hire a couple of experienced IT Service Desk professionals to join their team.

**About the role**

Working within the Helpdesk team, you will be the first point of contact for clients calling with questions and technical support issues. Via a ticket system, your job will be to identify technical issues, troubleshoot and resolve problems over the phone, as well as escalate where needed.

You will be based within the office, however, at times will have the opportunity to visit sites utilising the company vehicle.

For the more experienced technicians it is envisioned after 3 - 6 month’s on the Service Desk, you will progress to being an on-site technician and provided with a fully expensed Company vehicle.

**You will troubleshoot and support with**:

- Microsoft Office 365 including user setup and licensing;
- Server management including installations, configurations and updates;
- VoIP phone system (3CX) including documentation of configurations;
- DNS and domain registrations including maintaining records and renewals;
- Network administration including managing firewalls, switches, routers and VPN’s;
- Security including monitoring systems for irregularities and breaches, and escalations.
- Printer and other Peripherals - installation, administration and troubleshooting

**Who are we looking for?**

To be successful in this role, there are no specific IT qualifications necessary. The emphasis will be on the practical “hands on” work experience and knowledge you possess, ideally working in a similar role - which is providing a variety of diverse IT & Telephony support services to SME’s - we do not service large, corporate enterprise clients

What we are seeking is an individual that is motivated by an interest and to grow a career in IT. Someone who has excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment.

Progression to becoming an on-site IT Service Technician is available within 3-6 month’s based on meeting certain KPI’s. Advancement to IT Service Technician will attract a fully expensed company vehicle, phone and tablet.
