Our Client is a 30 Year Strong, Manufacturer and Distributor of Attachments for the Construction Equipment OEM's.

The business is seeking the services of a Territory Manager based in Victoria but also travelling to South Australia and Tasmania regularly.

This is a hands on role where you will be able to work autonomously and build and grow existing clients, and even capture some of market which we don't already own.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Sell excavator attachments from a focused catalogue of attachments, including Quick Couplers, Buckets and more.
- Managing existing accounts and expand portfolio with new business development
- Actively seeking out new sales opportunities (ie: Daily cold calling with targets/prospecting for new business)
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with OED’s to market Company's products
- Provide technical and commercial support to OED’s and end-users
- Preparation, presentation and following up of quotes for all product lines
- Identifying and managing future business opportunities in the market
- Management and updating of our in-house CRM
- Weekly and monthly reporting and attending sales meetings as agreed
- Working to and achieving all KPI’s.
- Be active in your territory
- Create and maintain clear strategies for account management of existing key customer accounts
- Plan, organize and participate in agreed trade shows exhibitions, and demos
- Driving business development activities
- Leading and/or supporting major bid submissions
- Preparation (in conjunction with the executive team) of annual sales budget and forecast for new and existing business development in Qld / NT
- Researching market trends in the sector and identifying growth areas

**Desired competencies, personal skills and experience**:

- Maintaining and strengthening current relationships with our key customers
- Proven track record in developing and growing long-term relationships across relevant industries
- Ability to work closely with company technicians to provide clients with high-level and appropriate solutions
- Demonstrated key account management and business development experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of the earthmoving attachment industry
- Demonstrated bid submission experience
- Mechanically minded, preferably with technical and practical experience from the field, High preference to Trade Qualified Plant Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic but not essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong planning and organisation skills
- Experience in educating sales personnel of product
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft packages and experience using a CRM
- Ability to undertake frequent travel
- Ability to work autonomously in an efficient and organised manner in a fast paced and often high-pressure environment
- Absolutely trustworthy and dependable
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the customer's needs
- Strong ability to manage the delivery of results on time and to quality with little supervision
- Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
- A strong ability to perform successfully within a team and to contribute to the team environment and team dynamics
- A strong work ethic with an honest and reliable attitude
