It is through Variety's amazing efforts that they have had remarkable success and the expansion across the fundraising and marketing programs will continue to support and build growth within the team.

**About the Role**

Reporting to The Fundraising Manager, the Events & Fundraising Coordinator will support the delivery of Variety NSW & ACT campaigns including Variety’s Hair with Heart and Peer-to-Peer campaigns. These campaigns and events engage existing Variety supporters, the broader community and key stakeholder groups.

This position will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders including agency partners, venues, sponsors, partners, suppliers, event organisers, community fundraisers and families to drive positive outcomes for Variety across the fundraising and charities they support.

**Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to**:

- Support the delivery of digital fundraising campaigns
- Support with the Hair with Heart and Peer to Peer fundraising initiative to ensure fundraising campaigns are supported with the day-to-day operations
- Track campaign expenditure
- Coordinate and plan a range of fundraising and community events
- Update booking systems for events
- Briefing volunteers and coordinate these volunteers for events
- Manage key event relationships
- Contribute to the development and design of event materials
- Logistics for events
- Attend site inspections for events
- Other duties may include some out of office hours required

**Skills and attributes for this position.**
- 2 years’ experience within a similar position supporting fundraising, marketing, event management or team assistant position
- High attention to detail both analytical and problem solving
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- High time management
- Reporting and tracking skills
- Strong MS office skills
- Valid WWCC

This position is a permanent position 5 days per week with hybrid work options.
