Join a National manufacturer's technical team in a newly created position as a Quality Coordinator.

Job duties include but not limited too:

- Maintenance of the ISO9001 system
- To continuously update and improve the company’s written procedures for maintenance of Quality certification.
- Carrying out internal audits to validate system compliance.
- Complete incident investigations as required
- Action or delegate responsibility of any corrective actions required to improve QMS
- Schedule and co-ordinate corrective action reviews
- On-going training of company personnel in matters relating to QMS
- Work in cross-functional team environment
- Identify gaps and proactively focus on continuous improvement
- Regular reporting of key quality parameters

To be successful in the role you will have:

- Degree in Chemistry but not essential
- 2-3 years’ experience working in a similar role
- 5-7 years’ working in manufacturing industry
- Interpersonal skills, particularly written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with ERP systems, Sharepoint, Microsoft Office Suite
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to follow up on issues and workflows
- Ability to watch out for wellbeing of other workers particularly with respect to safe practices
- Ability to stay focused and attentive to the work environment
