**Network Deployment Manager, Fixed Term Full-Time**:

**In this role, you'll**:
Be responsible for transitioning the TFNSW Ticketing third-party operator networks to the Operational Technology (OT) network and associated systems, while ensuring their security and high availability.

You will manage the Network delivery and work with the project teams responsible for deploying, testing, and configuring Network & Remote Device Monitoring systems and equipment across all transportation mode sites.

Additionally, you will evaluate and provide input on proposed network designs and changes to ensure they align with TfNSW objectives and represent value for money.

Your role will also include maintaining a secure, up-to-date, and highly available OT network, despite limited maintenance windows due to the 24/7 operating environment.

**About you**
- Demonstrated expertise in network design and implementation is required.
- You should have a proven track record of delivering large-scale networks and implementing infrastructure projects.
- Effective communication of technical and non-technical concepts to diverse stakeholders is essential.
- A thorough understanding of LAN/WAN technologies, including Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) / VXLAN Ethernet VPN network, is necessary.
- Extensive hands-on experience in implementing Cisco / Palo Alto / F5 / Software Defined Wide Area Network (SDWAN) & Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) is expected.
- Familiarity with an OT network environment is essential.
- Holding a current Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent experience would be advantageous.
- Experience in a high-pressure 24/7 work environment is advantageous.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with the ability to articulate network issues clearly, are necessary.
- Possession of tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience is preferred.
- You must possess a valid Australian motor vehicle driver's license with your own roadworthy vehicle and be willing to work outside regular hours and travel occasionally.
- A current Rail Industry Workers (RIW) or Rail Safety Workers card is mandatory, and applicants must be willing to undergo Medical Assessments as required.
