The Customer Strategy and Technology team within Transport leads the development of long-term, multi-modal strategies, plans and policies across NSW. We leverage data and insights, implement new technologies, drive innovation and build partnerships to provide customer-centred solutions.

**The opportunity**

Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Officer to join the Operator Integration Programs team in the Intelligent Transport Systems - Technology and Innovation branch. The role will work across multiple major projects, including Sydney Metro and Parramatta Light Rail, to perform project management and support activities that will contribute to the integration of these major projects into the TfNSW technology ecosystem.

This is a Fixed full-time position till 30/06/2024, reporting to the Director Operator Integration Programs. We’re a small team and work in a hybrid way with a mixture of working from home and in the office - based at Redfern.

**What you will be involved in**:

- Provide a range of project management and support services
- Prepare and maintain project documentation
- Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committees and consultations
- Undertake research and analysis, identifying trends and preparing project briefs
- Prepare complex correspondence, briefing notes and reports in relation to specific projects, initiatives and issues ensuring that submissions are accurate, timely and have appropriate signoffs
- Assist Program and Project managers with aspects of IT project planning, reporting delivery, and financial management
- Model collegiate and collaborative behaviours to achieve the greater good for the community, celebrate a diverse workforce, create an environment where people can innovate and thrive, and support people’s wellbeing

**About you**
- You’re an experienced, self-driven Project Officer with a technical aptitude or background in IT or Engineering (or other relevant field). This gives you an advantage to seeing the bigger picture on projects and delivering great outcomes.
- You are detailed in your work product, experienced in writing reports, communicating and building relationships with a myriad of stakeholders across different sections of the business.
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated, relevant, equivalent professional experience
- Good stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

**Salary and Benefits**

The salary for this position is TfNSW Grade 7A ($108,770 ) - 7E ($121,822) per annum plus 10.5% superannuation and leave loading.
