Industrial Automation Sales Manager

**The Client**
Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a dynamic and results-driven Industry Sales Manager to lead a team of strong performers in the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) markets. Reporting to the Head of Sales, the new team member will primarily focus on outlining sales and market strategies, coaching and cultivating a culture of excellence in the team and driving greater customer and revenue growth within the assigned vertical.
**Your Responsibilities**:
- Developing a pipeline of new business opportunities and delivering profitable growth across ANZ in assigned vertical.
- Build, develop and mentor/ coach a high-performing sales team.
- Execute a sales strategy, training and operating plan to ensure the business achieves growth, new orders and targets.
- Establish influential relationships with assigned customers at all levels to generate greater business.
- Manage, mentor and motivate a team of Sales Specialists to achieve and exceed their sales targets.
- Set and monitor realistic achievement/ performance targets.
- Oversee the training and development of technical and selling skills of the sales team.
- Develop customer strategies and campaign plans to meet performance targets.
- Support and promote a positive team environment in line with core company values.
- Build deep strategic relationships at multiple levels within large client portfolios.
**About you**:
You are highly organised, lead by example and deliver excellent results in a fast-paced environment and have a natural ability and passion to inspire and motivate success in a team.
**You have**:
A successful track-record in B2B sales/ business development and sales management ideally in supply chain, transport or logistics automation.
- Understanding of electrical/ electronics/ automation products and ideally sensor intelligence technology in industrial sectors.
- An engineering background or qualification in electrical, mechanical or mechatronics.
- At least 5 years experience in supply chain, transport or logistics automation.
- Minimum 2 years experience in developing, coaching and leading a sales team.
- Ability to strongly engage with and work well with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentationa skills.
