**About The Service Improvement and Innovation Team**:
The Service Improvement and Innovation Team, reporting to the office of the Chief Strategy and Sustainability Officer, enables an enterprise approach to innovation and improvement and program/project management functions. The focus of the Service Improvement and Innovation team is on projects with an organisation wide impact; service improvement and innovation support; development of a community of practice to support service improvement and innovation; coaching and capability building in project and improvement methodologies; and to support the development of staff and consumer engagement in service improvement and innovation.
**Your Role**:
An exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Project Lead to join Austin Health's Service Improvement and Innovation Team. This role will be responsible for providing improvement and project management support to deliver initiatives that ensure planned surgery Operating Suite capacity is optimized and appropriately balanced to meet both emergency and planned surgery demand.

You will be a highly motivated professional who brings energy and enthusiasm to their work each day. You’ll be an experienced and inspiring leader who can engage, coordinate, and influence a broad range of stakeholders, including senior clinical leaders, to collectively deliver the Austin Health Planned Surgery Optimisation project objectives.
You’ll further have:
- A tertiary qualification in a health or management discipline. A relevant postgraduate qualification is desirable.
- A proven track record in health system transformation through large scale and complex project management
- Demonstrated experience in effectively engaging stakeholders, building partnerships, and communicating with influence at all levels
- Demonstrated experience in engaging consumers, carers and staff in meaningful improvement project participation and codesign
