About MPK - Energy Solutions

The MPK Energy Solutions team is focused on assisting our customers to energise and decarbonise their business. We aim to understand and address our customer’s ambitions through sustainable engineering design, and the delivery of power transmission infrastructure, low carbon energy generation or innovative solutions to meet this challenge. The Energy Solutions team also includes our Adaptive Innovation Group - focused on automation and robotics, as well as the engineering, design and fabrication of plant and equipment that aims to support both material productivity gains in construction and asset operations, as well as lowering customers emissions profiles.

**Description**:
**Responsibilities include**:
Identify key customers in line with the MPK’s corporate strategy
Seek business opportunities (projects) that are aligned to MPK’s strategy and capabilities which will then be converted to proposal / projects
Represent MPK at industry forums and build/uphold the corporate brand through formal presentation
Identify threats or risks to the business through competitor analysis
Identifying and developing new revenue models, sales/distribution channels, pricing and new product development strategies
Identifying strategic partnerships including financial arrangements, customer sharing and intellectual property rights
Prioritising and tracking investments across new product development initiatives

**Skills and Experiences**:
**About You**:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business or other relevant equivalent qualification
15+ years’ working in a senior role within energy industry - specifically transmission and distribution infrastructure - or
- energy generation - or - consulting engineering, with significant exposure to asset owners, developers, operators, or investors
Advanced business acumen
Project Origination and Client Relationship Management
Ability to establish and maintain relationships (internal and external)
Strong communication skills
