Are you ready to take on a challenging role as Manager - Remote Essential Services Water Quality? We have a brand-new team being established with you in charge

Water Corporation are embarking on a new commitment to supply and maintain safe drinking water to 140 remote Aboriginal Communities.

With a broad understanding and experience in water quality management, you will lead at a high level and be comfortable engaging with and influencing stakeholders in a regulated environment across the state.

You will work within the collaborative and motivated Water Quality Leadership Team who are driven to make a positive impact to public health.

Leading a significantly sized section, your first task will be to support the recruitment of your diverse and skilled team, including team members potentially based in different locations across the state.

**What the role will involve**:

- Provide strategic direction, commercial guidance and support for the identification and mitigation of risk associated with water and wastewater quality in the Aboriginal Community Water Services
- Lead the section as a Corporate Centre of Expertise and proactive consultancy in drinking water and wastewater quality management in the Remote Essential Services Communities and provide operational support to the business
- Lead and manage activities necessary to implement water safety plans, catchment management strategies, and achieve water quality objectives for the Remote Essential Services Communities
- Lead engagement with operating areas and key internal stakeholders to promote communication, understanding and achievement of sound water and wastewater quality principles across service delivery, operations, and maintenance for the Aboriginal Community Water Services
- For Aboriginal Community Water Services, manage and lead the water and wastewater quality monitoring process, including analysis of short

**Key skills and experience**:

- Extensive experience in water and wastewater quality operations and/or water quality planning and/or significant experience in water quality management
- Substantial experience in a leadership position providing direction to employees delivering specialist services state-wide to deliver organisational outcomes
