**About the role**:
We have 3 positions available for a 2-year fixed term opportunity for a Planner - Integrated Water Cycle to support the effective and efficient delivery of products for the asset investment planning function. This team identifies the long-term water and wastewater infrastructure for the Corporation's country regions.

You’ll be based in Leederville. It’s a lively suburb, 5 minutes from Perth’s CBD. There’s plenty of places to eat and hang out, and you’re only 5-minutes away from the nearest train station - an easy commute when you’re heading into the office,

**What the role will involve**:

- Supporting the development and evaluation of water source or wastewater scheme options to achieve required business outcomes
- Supporting an integrated planning approach across water and wastewater schemes including alternative water sources, water use efficiency and water recycling
- Supporting the development of investment programs, business cases and projects with deliverables that mitigate risk and meet the investment objectives of the relevant asset portfolio
- Contribute to the development of asset monitoring and investigation programs that provide the required information for robust asset investment decisions
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders on options for scheme improvements

**Key skills and experience**:
To be successful in the role you will ideally be degree qualified in an engineering discipline or similar, and have relevant experience in the planning, design, acquisition, and asset management of water and wastewater infrastructure.

A background in planning, with water or wastewater infrastructure will be highly desirable.

Your ability to build and drive positive and collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders will be important in this role. You will have the opportunity to travel at least once a quarter to meet the team and maintain those stakeholder relationships in the regions.
