The **_Principal Human Resources_** (HR) develops and delivers a range of operational and strategic human resources services and projects and provides leadership to the HR Advisor team. You will influence, create and implement progressive people and performance strategies, building capability and understanding, and making a substantial impact throughout the Commission.

This is a permanent full-time position, and you will be paid a competitive annual salary of $141,184 - $156,967 (ICAC Officer Grade 6), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation (currently 11%) and annual leave loading.

A talent pool may be created for future permanent and temporary, full-time/part-time positions that may arise over the next 18 months.

The Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) was established in 1988 as an independent organisation to protect the public interest, prevent breaches of public trust and guide the conduct of public officials in the NSW public sector. We are committed to:

- Preventing corruption through advice and assistance
- Educating the NSW community and public sector about corruption and its effects.

The Commission is based in the Sydney CBD and provides a variety of flexible working arrangements.

- Proven and substantial experience as a senior HR generalist and effective team leader
- Demonstrated capability to take a leading role in the full range of professional HR operations and services, including use of an HRIS/HCMS.
- Demonstrated ability to independently plan, prioritise and monitor team and individual workloads.
- Well-developed skills in research and analysis to identify issues, provide insight, and develop and implement change and improvement strategies.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication, influencing, relationship management, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of payroll obligations is essential - supervision or conduct of payroll processes is beneficial.
- Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline and knowledge of NSW public sector conditions of employment and relevant legislation will be well regarded.
