Off field, the club’s exciting, innovative, and fresh brand is growing as it engages with members, fans, the community and key stakeholders across Western Sydney, Canberra and Nationally.

The GIANTS’ AFL and AFL Women’s teams are based at the club’s elite training and administration facility in Sydney Olympic Park, with GIANTS Netball based adjacent at Netball Central.

**Description**:
We are after a sales focused, consumer driven professional, who is excited by the opportunity to grow an exciting brand in a non-traditional AFL market. At the helm of the membership and ticket sales, this role is to lead the development, planning and implementation of consumer sales and sales processes. This is a critical role, to support the GIANTS key strategic priority - Consumer Growth

You will lead a motivated and dedicated team responsible for generating revenue through the Club’s membership and ticketing programs across AFL and AFLW.

A key focus of the role is developing strategies to grow our audiences through a group sales program, retention of members and building the prospect to membership lifecycle. The role involves leading the Membership Services team, Ticketing Operations, and the casual, seasonal event and outbound GIANT sales team.

**Key responsibilities**:
Manage, develop and execute membership strategy to achieve our growth targets.
Manage, develop and execute the club’s ticketing strategy to maximise attendances and grow revenue.
Develop innovative consumer group sales leveraging the GIANTS Outbound team.
Utilise data analytics to meet key objectives and develop a better understanding of all markets.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand and develop strategies around pricing, community offers and promotions.
Whilst effectively leading and inspiring a high-performance team and culture, overall ownership of membership and fan engagement, acquisition, retention and life cycle journey.

**Skills and Experiences**:
A strong sales background in a consumer-based industry (sports desirable, however not necessary).
Highly developed leadership capability with proven team leadership experience.
Outstanding relationship building skills, and the ability to leverage these to achieve outcomes.
Strong project management experience with the ability to work under pressure and to deadline.
The ability to receive and respond to feedback, be willing to learn and embrace change, and commit to continuous improvement of both self and the business.
Previous experience working with key ticketing partners - Ticketek and Ticketmaster.
