Key Responsibilities

The Senior Marketing Executive will be responsible for developing and executing national consumer marketing plans and creative campaigns for news properties and programs. This includes:

  • Collaborating with the Head of Marketing- News and Sport in developing national consumer marketing plans and creative campaigns for news properties and programs.
  • Attending key meetings to gain deeper understanding of the campaigns and contributing to creative strategy documents and block plans.
  • Managing workflow, campaign creative briefs, and tight deadlines for multi-channel media and promotional plans under the guidance of the Head of Marketing.
  • Working closely with internal and external creative teams, ensuring quality control, deadline management, and approval processes.
  • Building relationships with News & Current Affairs Directors, the broader News Marketing team, publicists, media teams/agencies, mentoring junior team members to foster collaboration on campaigns, brand engagement, consumer promotions, events, and partnerships and other key projects.

About You

You are a strong marketing professional with 5+ years of significant consumer marketing, media or creative experience. You have partnerships and sponsorships experience including stakeholder liaison, events, project management, evaluating and managing stakeholder expectations vs business benefits. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
