Records and Information Manager

MARS are working collaboratively with a leading financial organisation to on-board a Records and Information Management specialist. This is a unique role to oversee the group record keeping framework and regulatory record management across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the global solutions employed for regulatory record keeping and ensure effective operations
- Oversee and manage Operational regulatory compliance across the business
- Provide strong stakeholder engagement and management to understand regulatory drivers relating to records management
- Support data protection policies and key regulatory requirements
- Identify and escalate risks in accordance with the operational risk management and records keeping framework
- Contribute to the development of standards and procedures to support business operations
- Undertaking any broader information governance activity as prioritised by the business
Key Requirements:
- Well versed in automation and systems administration
- Sound knowledge, understanding and experience in data and information governance, or records and information management
- from within the banking/financial services industry
- Experience in operational risk management practices is desirable but not essential
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience related to data protection regulation (such as GDPR) advantageous
