Position: Senior Retail Business Analyst, Professional Services - Retail

Location: Australia - Sydney or Melbourne

ABOUT THE ROLE

- Reporting to the regional Professional Services Leader
- Supporting customers in Australia, Singapore and Thailand

Your focus will be on maximizing customer investment, sharing industry best practices, delivering customer goals, and enhancing the shopping experience for their customers in all formats. Your prior experience will include working as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Solution Lead within a product portfolio. Your experience will include establishing strong relationships with clients and the ability to detail customer journeys and solution roadmaps.

Requirements Analysis
- Gather customer requirements and conduct analysis on high-level requirements.
- Provide retail industry knowledge to business and technical team members.
- Evaluate proposed change requests to existing solutions to identify potential adverse impacts.
- Ascertain that newly implemented/ revised solutions and supporting processes are meeting end-user requirements and business objectives.
- Conduct gap analysis against a new market opportunity.

Solution Design
- Acquire in-depth product knowledge and market trends.
- Participate in solution design sessions, effort, and planning estimation.
- Create high-level design documents, logical business rules, epic writing, and low-level user stories.
- Conduct capability assessment and help set the right expectations for stakeholders
- Assist with document preparation and review for release distribution.
- Validate new functions developed against approved requirements.
- Utilize analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and in-depth solution knowledge to conduct configuration and readiness for deployment

Post Deployment
- Maximize product adoption and utilization to our customer base
- Ensure objectives set are achieved and managed during project / program phases for product capability
- Drive future activities / initiatives for the region utilizing both services and products

Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with clients, Chief Product Officer, other business analysts, developers, and testers in analysis and validation of business requirements.
- Maintain client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work with customers onsite and virtual teams.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in an IT-related field.
- Experience in conducting requirements analysis, technical investigation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with technical writing including solution design documents, business rules, and user stories.
- Experience working in scrum and supporting toolsets.
- Experience working on customer-facing projects.
- Experience working with cloud technologies.
- Ability to communicate effectively across various functional and multicultural groups in a complex, global environment.
- Ability to drive growth and revenue opportunities through further adoption of NCR solutions.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, while often working independently and with little direct supervision to accomplish goals.
- Ability to recognize high-level opportunities for improvement and change.
- Ability to prioritize work between group members.
