**About us**

Construction-Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced **Office Manager / HR Officer** for a quality commercial/residential builder based in central Brisbane, who specialises in commercial/ residential building projects across multi-residential, aged care, and social housing sectors.

**Responsibilities**

As an Office Manager/HR Officer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing office operations and managing human resources functions within a dynamic construction environment. Collaborate closely with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to contribute to the efficiency and success of our projects.
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficiency and a positive work environment.
- Manage HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and employee relations.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal requirements.
- Coordinate administrative tasks, such as office supplies, equipment, and facilities maintenance.
- Support payroll processing and maintain accurate employee records.
- Facilitate effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders.
- Assist in organising company events and employee engagement initiatives.

**Qualifications**
- 3 years of work experience as an Office Manager and HR Officer working for a commercial/residential builder.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Relevant qualifications in HR or a related field.
