Prince of Wales Private Hospital is seeking a Theatre Assistants to join our Theatre team. You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and achieving high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction, in this faced paced and varied environment.

We are renowned for complex surgery, and have been independently recognised for excellence in clinical safety and service. Supported by the latest technology and robotics, we offer a full range of surgical and medical services too.

You’ll find us at Randwick, where we share a precinct with three other prestigious hospitals; Sydney Children’s Hospital, the Royal Hospital for Women and the Prince of Wales (public).

**As a Theatre Assistant your responsibilities will include**:

- Delivering excellent service and care to patients
- Maintain and clean theatre equipment
- Liaise within a multi-disciplinary team
- Ensuring patient and staff safety
- Sound knowledge of theatre equipment and safe use practices
- Proven troubleshooting skills
- Process organisational skills and complete documentation to a high standard

**Essential Criteria**:

- Authority to Work in Australia
- Experience in a hospital environment (desirable)
- Working with Children check
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Works well independently and within a team
