Melbourne, Australia Housing Choices Australia Full time

**Introduction**:
**Join us and share our Vision**:
‘All people affordably housed in neighborhoods that support life opportunities’

Housing Choices Australia (Housing Choices) is a leading and growing national not-for-profit housing provider. Our goal is to ensure that people are housed in inclusive communities and to create homes that encourage a sense of belonging. We own and/or manage more than 7,000 homes, accommodating over 8500 tenants across Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, New South Wales and Western Australia.

We provide a culture that supports individuals to be their best, with opportunities for personal and career development. We are committed to cultivating an equal, diverse, and inclusive environment for our staff, residents, and stakeholders.

**Description**:
Opportunity

We're offering an exciting role for a Housing Officer within our Specialist Housing Group Team focused on Tenancy Management. This position involves working with vulnerable community members, including NDIS participants and those experiencing disabilities, to support them in maintaining their tenancies, enabling them to live fulfilling lives similar to anyone else.

This role entails delivering high quality tenancy management and customer services while fostering relationships with residents and key stakeholders. Collaborating with the SHG team, the SDA Participant Engagement Team, the Property team to maintain property conditions and liaising with internal stakeholders is also a part of the role.

We're seeking someone experienced in tenancy management, social housing, and the disability sector, preferably with knowledge of Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). However, eagerness to learn and a strong commitment to the role are essential qualities, even if direct experience is lacking.

The fixed-term contract with a potential to go permanent based in Melbourne, offers genuine flexibility and abundant learning opportunities within a supportive team environment, guided by a manager dedicated to your growth in the role.
