The Role

The Early Careers Program Lead will support the strategic direction and implementation of Saab Australia’s Early Careers framework. This will involve workforce planning, organisational development and the ongoing engagement (with internal & external stakeholders) to develop and implement a retention and development program for early career employees within Saab Australia.

The Early Careers Program Lead will suit a Learning & Development or Organisational Development Specialist who has sound project management skills, strength in working with wide variety of stakeholders and a passion for developing the future workforce. This role represents an opportunity for an ambitious person to drive the strategic outcomes of early careers for Saab Australia.
- Program manage the early careers cyclical project requirements positively impacting business and early career outcomes
- Partner collaboratively with all stakeholders to support the accurate demand planning, rotation planning, off-boarding and development opportunities for our early careers talent
- Ensuring Saab’s graduate development program is aligned with organisation’s strategy and building future pipeline capability
- Drive implementation, governance and improvements of the Saab’s graduate development framework
- Lead Saab’s strategic plan across all facets of early career and STEM initiatives
- Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office, 9 day fortnight will be considered for the right applicant._

About you
- Your skills and experience will include:_
- Tertiary qualifications and/or experience working in Human Resources, Organisational Development or Learning and Development
- Sound ability to interact with and work collaboratively with a wide variety of stakeholder groups
- Demonstrated experience successfully supporting and leading people-centric projects
- Demonstrated organisational, project management and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines
- Strong communication, critical thinking and problem solving skills to deliver strategic and operational outcomes

A Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain a baseline clearance.
