**About the opportunity**

You will be providing support to customers over the phone within the call centre and in person at the customer service counter. Council's hours of operation are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Your start and finish times will vary in accordance with our business needs

**Qualifications and experience**

**Essential**:

- Administrative qualifications or specialist skills training
- A minimum of 12 months of customer service experience in either telephone or face-to-face enquiries in a high-volume area

**Desirable**:

- Experience in Local Government.

**Remuneration and benefits**

The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
- Entry level for this position starts at $34.9234 per hour plus 25% casual loading
- Casual working hours
- Employee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 11.5% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs.
