**About The Role**

With our continued growth, we're looking for an experienced **Human Resources Manager **to join our team in Sydney. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Services, this mid-senior role will manage our HR operations with a strong focus on enhancing employee retention and fostering a high-performance workplace culture. You will play a key role in shaping HR strategy, leading performance management programmes, and implementing a new HR Information System (HRIS) to drive efficiency and support our strategic goals.

This is a hybrid role, with 4 days a week in the office, 1 day WFH.

**Your Mission at Life Trading**

**_ HR Strategy:_**
- Collaborate with management to drive and evolve our HR strategy.
- Develop HR initiatives aligned with strategic goals.
- Enhance metric-based HR reporting with insights for management and the board.

**_Key Projects:_**
- Assess, recommend and implement a new HR Information System (HRIS).
- Lead various ad hoc HR projects.

**_HR Management:_**
- Oversee the HR team and manage HRIS and related systems.
- Semi-annual board reporting
- Drive employee performance management and collaborate with talent acquisition to meet hiring targets.
- Develop performance management, succession planning, and professional development programmes.
- Support annual compensation reviews and provide payroll assistance.

**_Compliance and Values:_**
- Promote our company values and support additional duties as needed
- Ensure HR policies are compliant with legislation

**What We're Looking For**
- 5+ years of experience in HR management roles within small-to-medium-sized companies.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Demonstrated experience with and implementation of an HRIS (e.g., Employment Hero, Rippling) and HR best practices.
- Working knowledge of employment laws
- Proven ability in leading change management and improving business processes.
- Proficiency in using HR systems and tools such as Xero, JIRA, Confluence, and Greenhouse.
- Strong influencing skills

**Bonus Points For**
- Experience with enhancing business processes and leading change management initiatives.
- Exposure to global workplace health and safety (WHS) responsibilities.
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Understanding of payroll processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

This role is part of the Life Trading HR team, reporting to the Head of Corporate Services. You will work closely with the entire team to deliver on key HR objectives, including talent acquisition, performance management, and HRIS implementation.
