A reputable accounting firm located in CBD are looking for a cheerful and motivated administrator / receptionist to join their team. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure into the accounting industry too.
This role would be ideal for someone seeking a new challenge, with variety in the role. It will suit a professional with experience in reception who wants to further develop their administration skills. Lots of opportunities for progression within this firm
YOU
- 1+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Public Accounting Practice experience preferred but not essential
- XERO experience will be highly favourable (but not essential)
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Very organised and a great multitasker
- Client focused, strong customer service
- Positive attitude - "no task is too small"
- Enthusiastic individual who works well with deadlines
- A bubbly and friendly personality
THE ROLE
- Meeting and greeting clients in a welcoming and professional manner
- Handling incoming documentation, scanning and filing appropriately
- Assisting with compilation and distribution of financial documents to internal and external stakeholders
- Updating ASIC and ATO information and documentation
- Preparing collations and processing client requests as required
- Liaising with ASIC and ATO over the phone, regarding queries
- Assisting Partners and their teams with any required tasks, general office administration, diary management and meeting room bookings
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Administrative background in a professional services environment
- Outgoing and personable, who believes in providing good customer service
- The ability to have initiative and come up with new ideas
- Someone who enjoys supporting a team and adding value
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and be challenged
