**About the role**:
In this role you will be directly supported by the Service Manager and Administrational Manager, as well as the broader leadership team. You will be provided with relevant training, education and orientation.

**Where you'll be working**:

- The Outpatient, Switchboard and Mailroom services are primarily located on site at John Hunter Hospital with our Referral Management Centre based at the James Fletcher Hospital campus.
- This position is based at JHH and located close to the Outpatient Service Manager and Data Manager.
- John Hunter Hospital delivers a variety of inpatient and outpatient acute and sub-acute health care services to the Newcastle community and provides exposure to a variety of disciplines and specialties.

**About you**:

- Have a calm and flexible approach to the workplace, demonstrating professional behaviour in relation to confidential matters.
- Have demonstrational administrational experience within a health care setting and the ability to work across several tasks at one time.
- Have the ability to engage with a large team, be proactive and successfully manage your own time with limited supervision.
- Experience in health rostering practices will be highly regarded.
