- Our Client, one of Australia’s leading independent fund manager, providing investment products to domestic and international clients with $20 billion under management, is seeking for an experienced _**_Investment Sales and Business Development Specialist_**_, who can start immediately to take charge of their investment sales and client services largely towards their Japanese clients._
- This role is responsible for servicing existing _**_Japanese corporate clients_**_ and assisting to drive company’s growth ambitions into _**_Japan. _**_This will include working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and the Client Services team to drive key strategies. This includes engagement with Japanese stake holders to create product development/sales opportunities. This role will be required to translate materials and interpret in meetings. _
- The package of this role includes, _**_up to AUD150K+Super+Bonus_**_. Your choice of office, whether in the heart of Sydney or Melbourne CBD, is negotiable. Numerous business trips to Japan will be scheduled._
- This role will allow your expertise for fixed interest, in both Australia and Japan, to shine and bring promising contribution to your next career path._

What does your next role look like?

**_The role includes but is not limited to:_**
- _Leading sales roadshows, teach-in sessions and assist Portfolio Managers in pitching to clients_
- _Regular engagement with Managers across other departments_
- _Assist in product development discussions and providing supporting material_
- _Translating material / interpreting for meetings_
- _Servicing existing client base and developing additional opportunities within those clients_
- _Assist with regular reporting preparation_
- _Adhering to ad hoc client requests_
- _Liaising with our middle/back-office operations_
- _Frequently corresponding with the stake holders in Japan and other members of the Japanese Team and liaising with Japanese speaking Clients _**_(ESSENTIAL SOLID JAPANESE BUSINESS SKILLS)_**

A little about you
- **_Australian Fixed Interest knowledge base (RMBS, Leveraged Buy Out (LBO), Credit, Bonds and preferably Hybrids)_**:

- _Some understanding of Domestic Equities_
- _Business development/Sales experience essential_
- _5 year+ experience _(preferably with some time spent in Japan) _
- **_Excellent Japanese language skills including fluency in Japanese oral and written in business context _**:

- _Language skills - _**_some translation experience preferred_**:

- _Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Outlook (Japanese & English)_
- _Excellent time management and organisation skills with the ability to multi-task_
- _Detail-oriented and resourceful_
- _Good problem-solving skills and ability to prioritise work_
- _Good team player_
- _Ability to work in fast paced environment_
- _Degree qualified in Finance / Securities or another relevant field _
- _Able to work autonomously and as part of a team with an emphasis on working closely with CCO, Portfolio Managers and Client Service team_
- _A superior client centric approach and a relevant financial services knowledge base will be required to ensure success in this role._

Location
- Melbourne CBD or Sydney CBD (Negotiable) - Both location _Include fantastic end-of-trip facilities and a mother room prayer room._
- Work Flexibility- This role offers flexible work from home options._

**Salary Range**
- $120,000 - $150,000 base + _10.5% super + inclusion in annual bonus scheme_

Working Hour
- 9.00am to 5.00pm - Monday to Friday_
