As a **Collections Officer** you will partner with our internal and external stakeholders and provide technical and reconciliation skills to ensure timely payments by our customers. This role is responsible for a high volume of calls, reconciling accounts and resolving disputes in order to decrease the aged debt on the ledger.

***In this role you will be responsible for**:

- Attend ledger review sessions with collections manager
- Identify and reduce the rolling arrears
- Reduce the overdue debt to within agreed KPI targets
- Manage complex account reconciliations
- To escalated and liaise with internal departments in relation to disputes on customer accounts
- To build relationships internally and externally to keep customer satisfaction high whilst maintaining a low balance on the aged arrears
- To provide weekly notes on accounts advising action taken to decrease the arrears
- To ensure that the credit services inbox requests are actioned within SLA
- To make and receive phone call communications regarding issues on a customer’s account that effect their aged balance.

**Skills & Experience Required**:

- 3+ years in an account receivable collections role
- SAP Experience is preferred
- Intermediate to advanced Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- An ability to give and receive information accurately
- Ability to communicate both written and verbally in a professional and effective manner
