Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is recruiting for a
**People and Organisation Coordinator (Graduate) **to join our team in Perth, Western Australia. This is a entry level long-term opportunity well suited to a recent Human Resources graduate to help support our team deliver services to major energy and mining clients across Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
Wood delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, optimisation and technical services to the oil and gas sector and enjoys long-term partnerships with some of the region’s most prominent producers, actively supporting operations across the Australian & Asia Pacific region. We are also at the forefront of engineering solutions for the Mining and Minerals industry and currently delivering critical metals projects (Battery and Magnet metals) all over the world, including Copper, Lithium, Vanadium, Rare Earths, and Base Metals projects.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary People and Organisation (P&O) team, you will ensure a positive customer experience and take accountability to support stakeholder queries effectively and closing out each in a timely manner, by providing advice, support and guidance across the full P&O spectrum. Your role provides a variety of generalist HR services necessary for the entire employee life-cycle including recruitment, selection, training coordination, competency management, talent development and reward management.
You will receive functional and day-to-day guidance from the P&O Manager, to support you with the planning, co-ordination and delivery of annual P&O projects and deliverables for a workforce across Asia Pacific work locations.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support of recruitment, onboarding and offboarding tasks
- Reviewing and maintaining all training and competence requirements
- Assist the P&O team with planning and delivery of P&O projects and specific work activities
- Provision of advice and support to stakeholders on P&O policies, procedures and employment legislation
- Involvement in Wood’s Inclusion and Diversity initiatives, Indigenous Commitment Statement implementation and Local Content initiatives

Skills / Qualifications:

**must be an Australian citizen OR hold Permanent Residency (PR) OR be able to work lawfully in Australia to be considered for this opportunity.**
You will be suitably qualified with a Bachelor degree education in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or business related qualification from a recognised institution and have:
- Knowledge of people practices and applicable legislative frameworks and HR regulations
- Excellent communication skills - written, oral and presentation
- A commitment to continuous learning and development
- Ability to work well in an agile team environment
- Ability to prioritise key tasks, solve problems and achieve results
- Ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels and within office and remote work locations
- Excellent systems knowledge (Microsoft Office).
