**About the role and tasks**

As a Tekla Structural Designer/Draftsperson, you will play a crucial role in the design and drafting processes, contributing to the successful completion of diverse projects.

Your duties will include:

- Utilize Tekla Structures software to create detailed structural designs and models for various projects.
- Produce accurate and comprehensive drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Work closely with engineers, and other team members to understand project requirements and provide valuable insights.
- Conduct thorough reviews of designs and drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project standards.
- Address design challenges and collaborate with the project team to develop effective solutions.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design calculations, specifications, and as-built drawings.

**Selection Criteria**
- + Mandatory_
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Tekla Structural Designer/Draftsperson in the mining sector.
- Advanced Diploma qualification in Design, Drafting, or Engineering.
- Extensive experience with Tekla Structures software is required.
- Interest in Structural, Mechanical & Piping (SMP)
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in design and drafting processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within the team and with clients.
- Must have the right to work full-time in Australia.
- + Desired_
- Bachelor &/or Master's degree in Structural Engineering, or equivalent relevant field.
- 3D modelling & drafting competency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor)
- Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Standards.
- Understanding of design techniques, tools, & principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, & models.
- Ability to analyse and solve complex structural design challenges.
- Efficient time management skills to meet project deadlines and milestones.

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
