About the RACGP
The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) is the voice of general practitioners (GPs) in our growing cities and throughout rural and remote Australia. We foster the future of general practice through our profession-led, community-based training model for the Australian General Practice Training Program and other training pathways. We train GPs to deliver quality, whole-person care to patients across Australia, support their ongoing professional development and provide a point of connection for GPs serving communities in every corner of the country.

About you
As our Provider Number Administrator, you’ll demonstrate your high level of attention to detail and accuracy, with all Provider Number administrative tasks as well as safeguarding all daily operational functions of all Provider Number related services. To thrive in this role, you’ll have:
Demonstrated experience in a diverse administration role within a large-scale, complex organisation.
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
Experience liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders with the ability to build effective working relationships.
Ability to learn and use new database systems quickly and proficiently.
Experience working in the health and/or education sectors (highly desirable)
About the opportunity
Reporting to the Provider Number Lead, you’ll be responsible for managing all administrative tasks as well as supporting maintenance of Provider Number related databases. In addition, you’ll:
Proof-read and edit various Provider Number materials and correspondence as directed by the Provider Number Lead and/or Systems Product Manager.
Act as a first point of contact for Provider Number related enquiries referred through the Member Services team.
Build effective relationships with stakeholders and ensure a high level of customer service.
