**About the Role**

The City of Ryde is seeking a forward thinking and business astute professional to join its Leadership Team and manage the Business Strategy & Innovation Team.

A key focus of the Manager Business Strategy & Innovation role will be to provide pro-active, strategic advice across a wide range of issues that could affect the performance of the organisation. You will also have the capacity to research, develop and recommend strategies and innovations that will lead to significant change and improvements to the way business is conducted at the City of Ryde.

Reporting to the Executive Manager People & Business, you will lead a small team that includes Corporate Reporting, and Business Improvement and Innovation.

Your commencing annual salary will range from **$156,000 to $203,000 + superannuation + leaseback vehicle**, dependent on your experience and qualifications.

**Key Requirements**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or extensive relevant experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build and maintain work relationships
