**About the Role**
**Sydney Showground **is a world-class venue, delivering close to 150 national and international events each year, including music festivals, sporting events, exhibitions, trade shows and the **Sydney Royal Easter Show**, the flagship event of the RAS and the nation's largest annual ticketed event.
As an **Event Logistics Labourer**, you will be required to work along side various event teams to deliver product and services for events held at **Sydney Showground**. Our aim is to ensure our customers receive the highest standard of visual presentation, hygiene and safety at all times. At times, this role is labour intensive and a reasonable level of fitness is required to fulfil the duties of this role.
In this role, your main responsibilities would be:
- Bump-in & bump-out for cocktail parties, corporate, music festivals & other events
- Set up of bars, retail outlets & furniture
- Stock receiving, distributing & rotation
- General maintenance & adhoc tasks as required
**About you**
**To be successful in this role you would need to have**:
- Flexibility and reliability to work an event based roster
- Experience in bumping-in/bumping-out events (or willingness to learn)
- Hold a current RSA certificate or competency card which is recognized in NSW
- Current Fork Lift license
- Current driving license (Manual Vehicle)
- Previous experience setting up beer systems desirable
- A level of initiative
- Proven history of being punctual & reliable
- Have excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Be energetic, committed and have a positive "can do" attitude
- Willingness to work inside and outside, in all conditions
- A reasonable level of fitness to perform the heavy lifting & duties of this role
- Be flexible & available to work weekdays, weekends and late nights
- Be legally entitled to live & work in Australia.

We manage the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Sydney Royal competitions, the RAS Foundation, Australasian Animal Registry and the Sydney Showground. The RAS has a team of over 130 full-time staff and an indispensable pool of casual staff who work on the Easter Show, and other Sydney Showground events.
