**The Role**

As an ASD 4, 5 or 6 Operations Coordinator you will:

- Coordinate the day-to-day execution of incident response engagements;
- Coordinate investigation actions in collaboration and consultation with other team members;
- Establish and maintain relationships with incident response investigation stakeholders;
- Analyse reporting to identify implications for investigations and prioritise analytical efforts;
- Record and communicate investigation actions taken and the results of analysis performed;
- Present investigation findings and recommendations to incident stakeholders; and
- Prepare, coordinate, develop and deliver briefs, advisories and investigation reports to stakeholders.

In addition as an ASD 6 Operations Coordinator you will also:

- Lead investigations including coordination of stakeholder engagements;
- Perform continuous improvement activities; and
- Provide supervision of ASD 4 and ASD 5 team members through mentoring, identification of knowledge gaps and training, as required.

**About our Team**
As part of ASD, ACSC’s national Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) team primarily investigate and respond to malicious cyber activity on critical infrastructure and systems of interest to national security.

Operations Coordinators lead operations to investigate compromises on a range of Australia’s most important networks.

ASD’s Purpose: To defend Australia from global threats, and advances the national interest through the provision of foreign signals, intelligence, cyber security and offensive cyber operations, as directed by the Government; and

ACSC’s Goal: To improve the cyber resilience of the Australian community and support the economic and social prosperity of Australia in the digital age.
