**The Opportunity**

We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our Australian Operations Team.

Aon has an extensive presence across Australia, with representation in each capital city and an extensive regional branch network.

As an Operations Coordinator, you will report directly to the Operations Manager of our National and Housing Industry Australia Insurance Services (HIAIS) segment and play a vital role in optimising internal processes to drive greater efficiency.

**What The Day Will Look Like**

This role is responsible for providing the management and support necessary to ensure these segments have the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures and systems in place to operate efficiently and effectively.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Providing day-to-day support to the Operations Manager to ensure the segments have the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures and systems in place.
- Responding to issues and queries raised by the segments, ensuring that standard processes are adhered to and opportunities for improvement identified
- Designing and maintaining standard operating procedures for each segment, building a deep understanding of handoff points between the segment and supporting functions
- Building strong working relationships through regular engagement with segment leaders and internal partners
- Trend analysis and periodic reporting of business and operational performance metrics

**About You**

This role will suit a proactive person with excellent attention to detail.
- Proven experience in operations or a similar role
- An interest in project management, process improvement, business or related fields
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and exposure to data analysis (highly regarded)
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and dedication
- Understanding of general insurance or financial services (desirable)
